Control Order of Text Animation
It would be very helpful to be able to control which text animates first. Sometimes, I use smaller text to sandwich larger text, the larger text bring the main focal point of the post. However, the large text ALWAYS animates first, which is not always desirable.
I could not agree more! The ability to choose order of text animation is key!
Why not Change the playing order in a desktop version of PowerPoint? you can also Change the playing order in PowerPoint for the web. Animation is vast field you have to up to date with every Animating tools and news.
If you want to know more about animations. then
So my workaround is you have to resize/scale the text box that is animating first until it’s just small enough so the other text box animates first...total hassle and waste of time, but until they fix it, this does help some. 👍🏼

What I don’t understand is even if I delete a text block, animate the remaining text block then add the second block, the second block still animate first.
Would be amazing to have a way to animate any single text, icon, image, sticker, logo ecc, and give them a different priority and different effect.
I like to see changes in animation control in Animate option, please add more animations on images and multiple words.

I was just about to suggest this idea myself!
I tried to order the animation using the Order Tab but that didn't work and there didn't seem to be an available solution. After a quick search I found this Community blog. So SIZE DOES MATTER. Too bad for that. Emphasis should matter.

Woah! Can’t believe this isn’t fixed yet
Allow users to animate one box of text and have others stay stationary.

2019 is over :-). More animation control (for text) coming soon?
+1 it's a must have guyz... very frustrating when you need to focus, or to tease a main informations, like for teasing / revealing....
This would be very helpful! Also, being able to animate icons

I am confused... can we or can't we change the order of animation on the app?
Me too! So glad you brought up that the larger text animates first because it was seeking random to me! (At least I can work with it now!!) Haha
I am also finding this very frustrating. The app is great to use but there must be the option of controlling which text receives the animation or even different animation to different text within one post

What makes the text animate randomly? I pick a template, edit the content and then they animate differently than the original. How do I control the order of the animation? ty
I have! I can kind of animate it in the app, but not the browser? And can't PICK the animation, it's random...
Would be great if i could have more control over it. Can't wait to see what Spark has in store!
Have you tried the animations in the iOS version of Spark? You can animate the text and the images right now. Plus, we have big plans around animations in general for this year, so stay tuned!
Would be awesome if we could animate the words to make the posts a little more dynamic.
